Which uses less energy: Recycling, or reusing?  In most cases it uses less energy to reuse. There is no melting the finished product back down to raw product, to rebuild it back to a finished product.  Don't get me wrong, it's way better to recycle than to add to the landfill, but is there anything better?  Yes.  Reusing! Taking a finished product and keeping it a finished product.  No melt down energy. No re-forming energy.  It's that much better.
